I am honoured and thrilled to stand before you as the newly elected President of the National Council of Women of NSW.

I am grateful for your trust and support in electing me to this role. As we embark on this journey together, I am enthusiastic about the many opportunities that lay before us.

NCWNSW has a rich one-hundred-and-twenty-seven-year history advocating for women, community, growth, and positive change in NSW. I am committed to building upon these foundations and lifting us to new heights.

Our strength lies in our members; each brings unique talents, unwavering service, insights and perspectives, and extensive experiences. Together, we are a formidable force for good, and I believe that by working collaboratively, we can achieve continued remarkable change.

Throughout my term, my vision is to strengthen our impact on and for our community, increase membership across all ages, explore new avenues and drive positive change to ensure NCWNSW is a peak body within NSW representing women throughout the state.

I encourage each of you to share your ideas and aspirations, for it is through collective effort that we can truly make a difference. I want to ensure that everyone feels welcome, valued, and heard. Our differences are our strength, and together, we are the rich tapestry of our community.

I also want to emphasise the importance of personal growth and development within our organisation. Let us use this platform to support one another in our journeys, whether in leadership, learning, or personal growth.

My heartfelt thanks to outgoing President Julie Morris for her service, dedication and hard work. You have set a high standard, and I am committed to maintaining that excellence.

Congratulations to the new Executive team; I look forward to working with each of you.

Together, as we embark on this exciting next chapter, know that NCWNSW is a hub of friendship, service, and opportunity. I look forward to working closely with all of you, listening to your ideas, and delivering positive success.

Thank you once again for entrusting me with this role. Here’s to a fantastic term ahead.
